TrackPet
TrackPet is a pet care app that runs on your phone. This policy explains what happens to information when you use TrackPet.
What we collect
Nothing is sent to GB Apps. TrackPet has no account, no sign-in, and no TrackPet backend. The developer receives no analytics, no crash reports from a TrackPet cloud, and cannot see pets, photos, notes, or household names you enter.
What stays on your device
Everything you add — pets, photos, care tasks, calendar events, weight and vaccine records, medications, documents, household caregiver names, expenses, and notes — is stored in the app’s private storage on your device. It is not uploaded to TrackPet servers.
TrackPet is designed to work offline. The Android release omits an internet permission for normal use; the iOS app does not require network access for care data. In both cases care records are not sent to GB Apps.
Photos and documents
When you add a photo or document, TrackPet uses the camera or the system picker (Android Photo Picker / iOS Photos picker). Only the file you choose is handed to the app and copied into private app storage. The app does not receive ongoing access to the rest of your library.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally by the operating system (Android alarms / iOS local notifications). Notification text can include task and pet names you entered and is shown only on your device. Permission is requested when you enable reminders.
When you share or back up
Sitter cards, PDF summaries, document shares, and backup archives are created only when you ask. The app passes the file to the system share sheet (Android / iOS) or a location you choose. After that, TrackPet is not involved and does not keep a log of recipients.
If you restore a backup, data on that phone is replaced by the contents of the backup file you selected.
Deleting your data
Deleting a pet or a record removes it from the app (attachments may be cleaned up after undo windows expire). Uninstalling TrackPet removes the app’s private data from that device. Because GB Apps does not host your care data, there is nothing left for us to delete on a server.
Children
TrackPet is a general household app. It is not directed at children under 13. The app does not collect personal data from anyone through TrackPet servers.
Third-party services
TrackPet does not embed advertising SDKs or TrackPet cloud analytics. If you open a shared file in another app (email, messaging, cloud drive), that app’s privacy policy applies to what you send there.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
